$580.16 We received $20.00 for a tshirt and spent club funds for the holiday party.

Service project committee. Liam leads this committee. Other members: Maya, Macey, Lexi, Nava, Nara, Kennedy.
This committee helps decide what, when and where the service project is and what it consists of. This committee did not meet today.
Business
- Old
Holiday party at the previous meeting.
- New
Service project to help the club and help other people to also help the community and help the club give back. Citizen scientist project to help the community (service project) contributing to science. We also voted on the service project and dog toys won. The committee is deciding when this will take place.
Mini communications day. Because demonstrations are a must have and meetings seem to drag on a demonstration day for the entire club. Before communications day so club members are prepared and ready to go onto communications day. (this is excluding everyone who has already done a presentation unless they would like to). They would consist of 10 minute increments which would be a 4-6 minute presentation with a 4-6 feedback session. Parent volunteers are needed. This event is on Saturday February 3rd starting at 1pm (communications day is on March 10th). Attendance is wanted so we can win the communications day award for most attendance.

Maya gave a Health presentation on 5 main food groups with a fun activity for the club.
Demonstrations
Nava gave a detailed presentation on her trip and the culture in Taiwan she also included facts and other information about the country.
Nara presented on goat care and other things to know as a parent of a goat such as health and the living conditions.
Advisor’s Announcements and Report
Feb. 3rd-Spaghetti sweetheart dinner to support a different club with money for 4-h 4-7 pm at the community center in the valley, Club t-shirt claiming to make money for the club and for club spirit $10.00.
