October 2019

The Kountry Bumpkins 4-H club meeting was held at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

The Kountry Bumpkins 4-H club meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by President Cade Duran.

Pledges were led by the President.

Roll Call was to name your favorite Halloween candy. The members that were present were Alaina, Teagan, Alexis, Mackenzie, Kailey, Liam, Oliver, Michael, Cade, Stella, Lauren, AlizaJane, Matilda, Ruby, Kelsey, Henley, Aaliyah, Makenna, Kailyn, Sarah, Mariah, Sawyer, Jilly, Addy, and Kaylee. 25 members were present.

We discussed our old business which was record books.

We discussed our new business which is the election of officers, club by-laws, and the window display, fall training, youth council meeting, open house, and the county leadership.

We discussed our club by-laws and voted on it. We practiced parliamentary procedure and made a vote on our official club membership laws and the club officer laws. We have two new officer positions that we voted on. Healthy Living officer and Senior advisor are our two new positions.

At our club meeting, we had our officers election. Our new officers are Stella Duran as our President, Henley Sexton as our Vice President, Lauren Richardson as our Secretary, Kaylee Sexton as our Historian, Alexis Temple as our Treasurer, AlizaJane as our Healthy Living officer and Cade Duran as our Senior Advisor.

Meeting was adjourned at 6:50pm.

The Durans provided treats which were fruit pizzas and drinks.

AlizaJane gave an illustrated talk on Henna Tattoos.

Stella Duran led a very exciting escape room- like workshop with our members where we had to find our pair to a card we were holding then we had to solve a riddle with that partner.

The parents had a meeting during that time discussing this 4-H year and everything it entails.
